An XM Micro account rebate calculation starts from the contract on that ticket, not from the lot number printed on the screen. In XM’s Australian product disclosure, one lot on a Micro account is 1,000 units of the base currency, and one lot on a Standard account is 100,000. The partner terms use the same split for forex: a micro or Ultra Low micro round lot is 1,000 units, and a standard or Ultra Low standard round lot is 100,000. On the FXBee XM card the rebate cell still reads “Rebate Details Coming Soon,” so there is no dollar figure to copy from that row.

Cashback changes part of the trading cost. It does not make the broker safer, it does not turn a losing trade into a winning one, and it is not a reason to increase size. CFDs can lose the deposit. This is for adults who are allowed to trade CFDs where they live.

Read the contract before you touch the rate

The lot label is local to the account. A ticket that says 1.00 on Micro is 1,000 units of base currency on an EURUSD-style forex contract. The same 1.00 on Standard is 100,000 units. Those two tickets are not the same position, and they are not the same cashback if the rate is quoted per standard lot.

XM states the Micro and Standard lot sizes in the Australian product disclosure. That document is the Australian entity’s disclosure, and its worked leverage example uses 1:30. It is not a description of every XM company. The partner-program terms repeat the 1,000 and 100,000 forex definitions, and they add metals: one standard gold lot is 100 ounces and one micro gold lot is 1 ounce; one standard silver lot is 5,000 ounces and one micro silver lot is 50 ounces.

Ultra Low Micro uses the 1,000-unit forex contract in those partner terms, but it is a different pricing plan from Micro. A tighter spread plus a commission is not the same cost as a standard spread, so a Standard cashback line does not price an Ultra Low ticket. Shares are listed on the same FXBee card and are not a forex lot at all.

Leverage changes the margin, not the notional of a given lot and not the rebate on that notional. The FXBee card prints a maximum of 1000:1. That field is not a worldwide retail offer. ESMA’s 2018 retail CFD measures capped major currency pairs at 30:1 for the clients those measures cover. A UK or EEA retail account and an offshore or professional field are different products. Recheck the company on your own agreement before you treat either number as yours. The ESMA note is on the 2018 CFD restriction announcement.

XM Micro account rebate calculation when the rate is per standard lot

Use this path only when the rate row says the amount is per standard lot. Notional is the lots on the ticket times that account’s contract size. The standard-lot share is that notional divided by 100,000 for an EURUSD-style pair. The example credit is the standard-lot share times the rate. The partner terms also say a round lot for their own affiliate commission must stay open at least five minutes, and they exclude close-by and multiple close-by. That five-minute rule is XM’s affiliate-commission definition. It is not the FXBee cashback rule. Which tickets count here is the eligibility page, not that PDF.

The figures below use an example rate of $10 per standard lot so the arithmetic is visible. They are not an XM price, and they are not the empty cell on the card.

  • Micro, 1.00 lot, contract 1,000: 1,000 units, which is 0.01 of a standard lot, example credit $0.10.

  • Micro, 0.01 lot, contract 1,000: 10 units, which is 0.0001 of a standard lot, example credit $0.001.

  • Standard, 0.01 lot, contract 100,000: 1,000 units, which is also 0.01 of a standard lot, example credit $0.10.

  • Micro gold, 1.00 lot: 1 ounce, not 1,000 currency units. Do not put the EURUSD dollar line on it.

The useful comparison is the third line against the first. One full lot on Micro and 0.01 lot on Standard are the same 1,000 units. Paying the Micro ticket as if it were one standard lot, at $10 instead of $0.10 in this example, overstates the credit by 100 times.

The second mistake runs the other way. If the row is already written per micro lot, the 1,000-unit contract is already the unit being paid. Dividing that amount by 100 again treats the ticket as a hundredth of itself. Divide only when the row is denominated in a larger lot than the one you traded.

Per side and round turn change the total, and the row has to say which one it is. A round-turn figure is not two per-side payments unless the row says so. Pip value is a separate number: the gain or loss from a price move on 1,000 units is not the cashback.

Gold and silver do not use the currency unit

eurusd-versus-gold-lot.jpg

One micro gold lot is 1 ounce in the partner terms, against 100 ounces on a standard gold lot. One micro silver lot is 50 ounces, against 5,000 ounces on standard silver. Both metals are one-hundredth of their standard contract, but the unit is ounces. An EURUSD cashback line, even after you scale it, does not become a gold line. Wait for a metal row, or leave the ticket out of the forex sum.

What the card publishes, and what it leaves blank

The FXBee XM card lists Standard, Micro, Ultra Low Standard, Ultra Low Micro, and Shares. It offers two destinations for a rebate that is actually due: a daily rebate to the FXBee wallet, or a daily rebate to the trading account. The card’s cashback note says the credit follows volume and is booked on a completed trade whether that trade made or lost money. The rate cell itself is still “Rebate Details Coming Soon.” Until that cell has a number, and until you can see whether the number is per standard lot, per micro lot, per side, or round turn, the example above stays an example.

The same card prints a minimum of 0.01 lots and a maximum of 100 lots. On Micro, 0.01 lots is 10 units of base currency if the platform lot is the micro contract. On Standard, 0.01 lots is 1,000 units. The label matches. The position does not. XM’s minimum on that card is 0.01, not 0.001. The 100-lot field is an order limit on the card, not a cashback ceiling. A rate printed for another broker, including any “up to” figure on the comparison page, does not belong on this ticket.

A new account for this rebate is opened from the XM card on FXBee. An account that already exists is attached by account ID on the support page. The trading account is held by the company named on the client agreement. The card prints several of those names, including Trading Point of Financial Instruments Limited. Check the name on your own agreement when you confirm that the account type is Micro. Broader notes on the empty rate and the two payout paths are already on XM rebates and XM cashback.

A ticket still has to qualify

The arithmetic does not book the credit by itself. FXBee’s terms say cashback is paid at the listed or agreed rates, that there is no obligation to pay in every case, and that payments can be withheld, changed, or stopped. A broker’s refusal to pay a commission is one example given there. Calculations may use the activity the broker reports. Churning identified by a broker can void commissions and rebates. A bonus from the broker can shrink the rebate. Transfer fees can be deducted. Swap is not described as rebated on the XM card.

The terms also limit claims to transactions in the three months before the rebate account is added, and they say rebates for transactions older than three months from account registration are not eligible. Those two sentences can point at different dates for one ticket. Read the current terms against the ticket time and the date the rebate account was registered. Which products and close types count is a separate check on which trades count. Do not borrow another program’s hold time to fill a gap.

Check one ticket before you expect the credit

  1. Read the agreement. The account type has to be Micro if you are using a Micro row. Ultra Low Micro is a different plan.

  2. Read the symbol. Forex Micro is 1,000 units of base currency. Gold Micro is 1 ounce. Silver Micro is 50 ounces.

  3. Read the rate row. Note the currency, whether it is per standard lot or per micro lot, and whether it is per side or round turn.

  4. Multiply lots by the contract. Divide by 100,000 only when the row is per standard forex lot.

  5. Stop if the row still says the rebate details are coming soon, or if the ticket falls outside the eligibility and terms window.

FAQ

How does an XM Micro account rebate calculation change at 0.01 lots?

On a Micro forex ticket, 0.01 lots is 10 units of base currency when the lot is the 1,000-unit contract. That is 0.0001 of a 100,000-unit standard lot. At an example rate of $10 per standard lot, the credit is $0.001. The same 0.01 label on Standard is 1,000 units and, in that same example, $0.10. The card’s minimum is 0.01 lots, not 0.001.

Is 1.00 lot on Micro the same position as 1.00 lot on Standard?

No. On the forex definitions in the Australian disclosure and the partner terms, 1.00 Micro is 1,000 units and 1.00 Standard is 100,000 units. The matching Standard ticket for 1,000 units is 0.01 lots. Paying 1.00 Micro as one standard lot overstates a per-standard-lot rebate by 100 times.

Why is the worked example $0.10 instead of $10?

$10 in the example is a rate per standard lot, chosen so the scaling is easy to see. One Micro lot is 0.01 of that standard lot, so the example credit is $0.10. The FXBee card does not publish $10, $0.10, or any other XM dollar rate. Replace the $10 only when a row states a real per-standard-lot amount.

What if the row is already priced per micro lot?

Multiply the micro rate by the micro lots on the ticket. Do not divide by 100 afterwards. That extra division belongs only to a row that is priced on the 100,000-unit standard contract. Read the row before you choose the formula, including whether the amount is per side or round turn.

Does Ultra Low Micro use the same contract and the same cashback line?

The partner terms give Ultra Low Micro the same 1,000-unit forex round lot as Micro. The pricing plan is different: a tighter spread and a commission are not a Standard spread. Use a row that names Ultra Low Micro. A Standard or ordinary Micro cashback line does not stand in for it.

Can the EURUSD dollar line be used on gold?

No. One micro gold lot is 1 ounce, and one standard gold lot is 100 ounces, in the partner terms. Scaling an EURUSD rate does not produce a gold rate. Leave the gold ticket out of the currency sum until there is a metal row that states its own unit and amount.

What is one lot of silver on Micro?

The partner terms define one micro silver lot as 50 ounces and one standard silver lot as 5,000 ounces. The ratio is still one-hundredth, but the unit is ounces, not currency units. Do not enter 1,000, and do not reuse an EURUSD cashback line.

Does 1000:1 leverage increase the rebate?

No. Leverage changes how much margin the position uses. The rebate, when a rate exists, follows the lot and the contract, not the leverage field. The 1000:1 figure on the card is not the ESMA retail cap of 30:1 on major currency pairs, and the two should not be read as one offer. Use the leverage on the company named in your agreement.

Where does a due rebate get paid?

The XM card lists two methods: a daily rebate to the FXBee wallet, or a daily rebate to the trading account. Both are paths for an amount that is actually due. Neither path creates a rate while the cell still says the details are coming soon. Transfer fees can be taken off under the terms.

Which trades are eligible for the cashback?

Eligibility is a separate rule from the lot size. Read the current page on which trades count, then the terms. XM’s partner PDF requires a five-minute hold for its own affiliate commission and excludes close-by. That is not automatically the rule for this cashback. Do not import it to fill a blank.

How old can a ticket be and still be claimed?

The terms limit claims to transactions in the three months before the rebate account is added, and they also say transactions older than three months from account registration are not eligible. For a specific ticket those two clocks can disagree. Compare the ticket time with the registration date on the current terms before you count the credit.

Can a broker bonus reduce the rebate?

Yes. A bonus from the broker can shrink the rebate. The terms also allow a payment to be withheld, and they treat churning identified by the broker as a reason commissions and rebates can be voided. A completed losing trade is not, by itself, excluded by the card’s volume note, but a bonus or a churning finding can still change what is paid.

Does cashback make a Micro account safe to size up?

No. The credit, if one is paid, is a reduction in cost. It does not cap a loss, guarantee a profit, or make one company safer than another. On the example rate, 1.00 Micro lot is $0.10, which does not offset a move against 1,000 units. Do not increase size to chase the rebate. CFDs can lose the deposit.
